Hoosiers for Dental Excellence Dental Study Club Webinar

Hoosiers for Dental Excellence Study Club met last night for a webinar discussing the diagnosis and treatment of patients who have worn teeth, deep bites, TMJ disorders, and missing teeth that cause patients bites to change.

We learned how to help patients create a comfortable, healthy and stable bite so a patient will look better and eat without pain.

This meeting had 7 other dental study club groups from around the country participating as well. It was a fantastic opportunity for all members to learn from a dentist in Seattle, WA without having to travel across the country.

We had 10 dentists and specialists from Bloomington, Nashville, Spencer, Mitchell and Greenwood, Indiana including an orthodontist, endodontist, periodontist and dental implant surgeon who participated in this 2 hour continuing education web based lecture.

Bloomington Dental Society Meeting tonight

I attended and moderated a lecture for our local dental society meeting. We had a representative from the company named Keystone Dental, his name was Nick Lake and he taught us all about the bone grafting materials that his ompany manufactures and the ways we can use these these products to better treat our patients.. We learned how these products could help bone grow back so that people can save their teeth or how the bone can be regenerated so dental implants could be used to replace teeth that are missing or ones that have to be removed..I have been using these products on my pts. for many years, I was actually the first surgeon in Bloomingotn to use these advanced products on my patients so it was a good review for me tonight to reconfirm why I should continue to use these products to better serve my patients..I look forward to using these products in the future to help my pts. improve the health of their mouths..
